PuApple Soup

“An apple a day keep the doctor away,” this old saying itself says a lot.

A diet rich in vegetables and fruits is beneficial for everyone, and certain fruits like an apple provide more benefits than others, particularly for a person with a chronic health condition like diabetes. Apples are loaded with Vitamin C, especially in the skins, which are also full of fibers. Apples contain insoluble fiber, which is the type of fiber that doesn’t absorb water.

same like apple pumpkin too has many healthy properties, Pumpkins might be exceptionally beneficial for people with diabetes. It contains carbohydrates called polysaccharides and a compound called puerarin, which when paired, helps in lowering blood sugar and preventing diabetes. Pumpkin has also shown to increase the production of insulin, thus helping in regulating blood sugar.

Ingredients:

Grated Apples 1cup

Grated Pumpkin 1cup

water 1 ltr.

green chili sliced 2 tbsp

black pepper 1/8 tsp., bay leaf 2

Ghee 1/2 tsp.

Lemon juice 1 tsp

lemon zest 1/2 tsp.

Method:

In a pan take ghee put on heat now add black peppers and bay leaf

now add grated pumpkin and cook for 2 mins with continuous stirring.

now add grated apple and green chili and again cook 2 mins., turn flame off and let it cool for 10–15 mins.

it’s time to take a mixer jar and add cooked mixture churn all well

now take a pan to add the prepared paste and add water

let it boil for 5–7 mins on medium flame,add lemon juice and zest serve well.
